That
was fun! You guys stepped up to the plate this time and we quickly have a
winner. In a 10 minute time span I received the first three contest
responses and each response was correct, highlighting three different scenes
from Sliding Doors.
The
first answer received was from Eric Friedland from Massachusetts. I won’t
give the full answer in case some of you have not seen the movie and are
planning to see it. But I'll give you enough of the answer so that those of
you that have seen the movie know which scene Eric has revealed as modeling
proactivity and self determinism. Eric highlighted a scene from the very end
of the film when Gwyneth Paltrow’s character, displaying a clear knowing in
her manner about what she must do, requests that her two timing boyfriend
get out of her life.
This
was a totally proactive choice on her part. You can clearly see the two
principles of proactivity present in the scene.
